Hello guys

Doing an internship, some of you know the problems behind this one word, internship. Today I want share my experience and give you some tips to handle this time without any problems and make it to an unforgettable part of your youth.

The first question you should ask yourself is. Where should I go? Stay near your hometown, somewhere else in your country or go abroad. It´s up to you, but I think it´s important for your development to go away. After that you should choose a position you are interested in.

Now, I want to tell you something about my experiences. For my first internship I chose a hotel in a small village near the Weissensee in Carinthia. I was about 4 hours away from my hometown and, believe me, it was my best summer so far. I meet so many new people, learned so many things and most importantly, I became much more independent. One year later, I chose to work in my hometown, because it was a short summer and I had to learn for my final exam. It was also a great summer because I was at home and I saw my friends, but I missed the adventure, meeting new people and exploring new regions.

Finally, I want to give you some tips, how to speed this time without any problems and how to make this time unforgettable. First, be yourself. It doesn´t matter what you do, but it´s important to be yourself. Don´t be shy, try to talk to many people. The most important thing is, have fun, it´s your summer do everything you want to beside your work. But keep in mind, don’t disregard your duties.
